When it Rains, it Pours

So, this last weekend was full of surprises! I started passing another kidney stone last Wednesday, which was actually not a surprise. But as it continued to get more painful without moving anywhere 3 days later, I got a little afraid it could be my appendix. Off to the hospital for yet another ER visit! After countless hours of testing, we found that I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured and the bleeding was what caused the pain in my stomach. Luckily it will stop hurting in about a week and will just take care of itself. So I took another 'pill holiday' with some of my antibiotics to give my body some rest until today. Now we'll start everything up again! What the? This has been one crazy ride!! My poor husband!

Cole is still my escape. He is always making me laugh! Here he is discovering his new talent of being able to climb on top of things. The next is of him refusing to sit in the stroller for our walk. He would much rather push it. But it's not easy when the grass keeps getting in the way!

Hash House A Go Go

So for my pill holiday, Regan took me to Vegas to see Benny and to watch the BYU vs UNLV game. It was so much fun. Ben took us to a breakfast place called "Hash House A Go Go". It was amazing! It had incredibly oversized plates of food, and servers decked out in a disco theme. Benny always has a way of making me smile and forget my worries.

It was great to be there with my honey without worrying about the baby for a few days. I had never felt so good! I felt like I could tackle anything in my way and do it with a smile on my face!

Yep, that positive attitude lasted about 2 weeks. Which is actually a pretty long time when you consider what I've been through what with the vomiting and passing of the kidney stones and all. But it's been a lot harder to keep up the good attitude lately. The pain has gotten lots worse in my muscles and tissues, and the nausea is insane. But we figured out what medicine was causing me to pass kidney stones, so that was a plus! Needless to say I'm not taking that medicine anymore. I am supposed to start another new antibiotic today, which I have been dreading. But enough of this depressing talk. I HAVE been trying to keep busy with fun things! Like dressing up Cole as a skunk for Halloween:

playing Guitar Hero with Kev and Rach, making Halloween and Christmas crafts with Mom and Mel:
and watching lots of movies. If anyone has anymore pointers on things I could do to keep my mind occupied, let me know!! I have been truly blessed with helpers in my family and also my ward that have brought meals and provided babysitting when needed. I hope one day I will be able to return the amazing service they've given me. Thanks for all of the prayers!
